Tamarack Program

This program is a form of court diversion that assists adults charged with a crime who have a substance use or mental health treatment need. Participants are quickly connected to community-based service supports to improve the person's health and reduce future adverse involvement in the justice system. Participants must be willing to take responsibility for their actions and, when appropriate, participate in a reparative panel process. Service needs related to the charge are addressed in a restorative agreement. Completion of the Tamarack Program results in a dismissal of the criminal charge.
